Snuten - Crazy B (Lindstrom Remix)
Any one who heard the 2003 album Welcome To The Jungle by Snuten on C+C records will know that they are indeed crazy in Norway. Check the oddski-opera electro of Rollerboy, it’s an experience.
This Crazy B mix is on Hi-Phen and sees Snuten shake a tail feather like !!! as remixed by one man multi instrumentalist music machine of the moment Mr Hans-Peter Lindstrom. We gushed over his early offerings, and it just keeps getting better and better.
Take guitar wank by Eddie Van Halen, a rap from the grave by Falco, the more cow bell man, screaming and sex noise like Prince, the naive charm of the Tom Tom Club and Lindstrom’s signature cosmic oddball arrangements and you have some seriously big shit disco mother ship connection going down like a Crazy B, a ha ha yeh…
This new Norwegian eclectica on the dance floor will surely lead to Prins Thomas and Lindstrom getting the call for production duties for the next Beck album and Norway is looking at becoming the disco Canada in our books. Truly mesmerizing.

Working For A Nuclear Free City - Over
It’s alright.
Just for once, it’s alright.
Good, glad that’s sorted.
That was a handy sample of Spoon we heard before descending into pure space echo delay drenched harmonica, all courtesy of Manchester’s Working for A Nuclear Free City.
Cymbal’s crash and tumble forever, multilayered stop start vocals recursively evolve with the obligatory backward psychedelic loop to provide a blissed out sense of security. Then you feel the tension rising, molecules pass against each other creating a massive static charge that has to be unleashed somewhere.
Suddenly your launched into an all engulfing eye of the storm thrash that could go one for at least another 23 minutes in the xxjfg song book.
Not bad.
Quite good.
Can you go away and jam it again for us boys, and this time don’t come back till Over is at least one side of a 12″ on 33rpm please?
So when are Spacemen 3 reforming to curate ATP then?

I was all over the WFONFC track when you stated, “That was a handy sample of Spoon we heard before descending into pure space echo delay drenched harmonica.” Sounds fucking sweet.

WFANFC need a record deal from someone who can pay for em to go into a nice studio and see what comes out.
Take AutoKat with em too.
Many demos by WFANFC out on the net if people track em down, some good some bad.
Very very chuffed to see they are getting a reaction, i though the comments would be all about Crazy B, goes to show you never can tell.
Any wiz kids out there who can do us an extra long 23 min kraut-tastic mix of Over?
I bit my tongue. hurt a bit.
Thanx for stopping by drumman10987, greg - cheers for commenting and making us feel less lonely out here.
