There is a darkness that never goes out

TRICK OR TREAT!!!

Happy Halloween dear readers! Don’t fear we have lost it, we’re always losing it! But there’s lots left…enjoy, just read this small zine the way you’d watch a controlled demolition in delightful slow motion, small crumbs of sanity falling from our flanks like spiritual dandruff, until the great collapse happens, in two years and six months according to the estimates of our kind therapists.

Note aside- about what lies above- 20jazzfunkgreats was never about readability- or listenability, for that matter.

Note below- Read this for true frights written in mediaeval language.

T.I.T.S.-Lovely Home

The engineer asked what was the deal and they replied ‘make us sound like witches’.

T.I.T.S. are a white frocked coven who play epic haunted noise, you should acquire their awesome 12” split with the sadly disappeared Leopard Leg and DIE.

Coughs- Colors and the Way They Make You Feel

Coughs are a bunch of feral party kids who sound like the Animal Collective on a nasty bender after listening to too much Neubauten. You should acquire their awesome Secret Passage album just released on Load records and DIE.

They are playing in Brighton on Thursday at the Albert on a Nascent Nights gig. Towering Breaker and The Tall One Behind will be there too.

You should go and DIE

Don’t fool yourself, it’s going to happen anyway.

PS-Corey Dumais, definitive music nerd and Philly legend is one of the most remarkable characters your dear 20JFG losers have had the luck to meet. He has prepared a couple of excellent Halloween mixtapes you can download over here…

Married to the Macabre Pt 2

Say thanks and tell him what you think about them. He is going to be setting up his own podcast platform soon, about which we’ll keep you posted. I’m also hoping one day I’ll convince him to write for us as some sort of regular State-side gonzo columnist, because he’s a star.
