Bisexual Kat Spaceship
2 cosmic gems today from the outer reaches of space, beamed down via a sophisticated contraption we have (it would take too long to explain) and fed through filters to turn them into mp3s.

Oh no, how could anyone miss this? It came out on 12″ from Down Low Music in 2OO2 but no blog/pooterzine has touched it. Poor Macho Cat Garage, I guess it takes a total nerd to appreciate and throw limelight on it?
Good names for weird Electronic music producers are always fun, but we are guessing Macho Cat Garage is a play on Gay Cat Park who released the italo classique ‘I’m A Vocoder’. This tune is well gay though, yeah, there is no macho-ness, nope.
In ‘Nightbirds’ we get spun into oblivion by sequin studded hawks and eagles that whirl us into the skies with a collection of wobbly synthlines that sparkle in the moonlight, alongside the glare from bright white neon Tokyo keyboards. Awww, nice.
You can purchase this track on the ‘Freedom For The Macho Cat’ 12″, and then further your tough feline mechanic escapades with another 12″ entitled ‘Muffler Strut’. Do it, it makes sense and is fun, if anything.

Careering towards Earth at an untold velocity is the new Glass Candy 12″, ‘I Always Say Yes’, covered in blue fire and spurts of electricity.
Glass Candy - I Always Say Yes (12″ Drumm Edit)
Well we covered the demo of this track back in January of 2OO6 and then we described it as some sort of disco train that spanned sonic galaxies. We bring you the instrumental, sans Ida No’s galactic panther-purrs, for some sort of contrasting purpose.
Hear as the drums pound like they are made of actual planets, extra drums not in the vocal version occasionally tapping through, and the echoing synths are kept intact aided by a devilish throb.
This is hot, but oh man, we have not even told you of the 12″ version of ‘The Chameleon’, so pretty and understated, like subtle perfection, it breaks our little hearts. What? No, you can’t have it, buy the 12″ instead, its out well soon. Then when August hits get ready for ‘Life After Sundown’ on double LP and your cosmic lives will be complete.

Just enough time to let you know that our favourite hooded 8-bit noizzzze snake-terrorists Crystal Castles are playing in support of CSS tonite (that is the 1st February 2OO7) at the Concorde 2.
