The main tip for the season is the following: have fucking class, style’s in, fashion’s out.

On top of being a true legend of Enlightened Synth Disco (I just made that genre up but I hope you know what I mean), Daniel Wang looks hot yeah? Anyhow, if you haven’t listened to his classic Berlin Sunshine on Ghostly then perhaps you need to get on with the program because you’re so missing the last train to cool it might actually go full circle and run over you from behind leaving a disembowelled corpse over the rails which causes all sorts of delays & shit.
Mr. Wang is back soon with his 4 Seasons Sampler, which is a very pretty affair, we reckon Higashiyama Autumn is the choice cut, YMO snow crystals create a silver lattice of wistful melody over Girogio Moroder’s funky wraparound glasses as he climbs the side of Mount Fuji holding a small and delicate chryshanthemum in his big hairy mittened hands, this is slow mo disco at it’s emotional best and listening to it makes us feel happy and peaceful.
Daniel Wang- Higashiyama Autumn

We don’t tend to pay too much attention to European silky minimal electronica, and that’s a blatant mistake as this tune by Kalabrese, included in his Rumpelzirkus Pt. 1 Ep demonstrates.
Kalabrese feat Katy Wax- Not the Same Shoes
It’s like as if Kalabrese had used a Leika to take black and white snapshots of conversations in the distance of a very elegant nightclub and then gone to his shadowy studio to turn them into a slender yet relentless piece of hypnotic new wave whorehouse (now that’s a genre) which simmers with slow-burning dada sleaze and so much seriously atonal shizz that listening to it is like getting lost in some sort of weird party full of people wearing masks and robes, and sipping on glasses of a wine that costs as much as your yearly wages, or more.
Batteria Ricaricabile, one of our favourite blogs out there, told you about Kalabrese first, you should totally go there and show some respect, Viva Italians!! And Congorock! WE. SED. CLASS.
