Plz don’t shred my face demon kitten
Where cuddly kittens don cunning masks to engage in forbidden acts, we have spied on their secret covenants at night and discovered an ultimate goal, to make humans their pitiful slaves and return to the glorious days of Ulthar and Cleopatra. Wait, they have already succeeded, places of worship thrive as the smear campaign against the Dog Nation unfold in the media and the forces of the Inquisition retreat to dusty cellars. That seemingly inoffensive cat resting on top of your scratched legs slips words of subversion and revolt into your ears while you sleep.
I for one welcome the arrival of our new cotton-ball chasing big-eyed furry overlords.
Le Club des Chats slash trash and fumble with their instruments like a small feline intent on the obliteration of a stripy sock hanging from the bedroom drawer, claws bristle with colourful dada fury drawing imprecise lines of delightful no wave in the wooden surface, no doubt these french people will be spared when the day of cat reckoning finally arrives.
20JFG favourites raccoo-oo-oon convey the white heat white light flash of primal communion as the leaders of the different families of the animal collective arrive to the secret spot in the darkest recesses of the forest and stare at the nascent moon with shiny eyes, this bristling nugget of psyche noise wets our dry lips with the fragrant taste of Can and Oneida, find it enclosed in their self-titled 7 recently released by Gilgongo Records.
Raccoo-oo-oon- Behold Secret Kingdom
When the efforts of the committed come to fruition obliterating the hegemonic system of human domination based on a strangehold over alimentary resources enforced by the absence of paw-operated tin can opening devices, there will be a big party in the ruins of the cat-food corporate buildings, victorious kittens will do the disco strut in oblivious abandon as Extreme Animals summon cyclopean tetris blocks from the starry sky with the anthemic riffage of their lo fidelity rave punk.
Extreme Animals- Guitar Center Punk
Which is taken from Paper Rad’s lovely split seven released by Vicious Pop.

Extreme Animals will be playing good old Brighton at the Greenhouse Effect on the 26th on a Do club/Tatty Seaside Town co-production with support from Phil Collins 3 and Medicine and Duty doing an exclusive dance, hopefully Bodyrap-enhanced set, and London on the 27th at the MacBeth at Delete Yourself with DJ support from your trusty 20JFG types.
Ta da to lovely lorrita for creative input, support and help remembering design rules in the concoction of the abominable flyer above. The drawing is by Marion Peck btw.
The awesome masks/badges that illustrate this poster are hand-made by nicest person ever Chiara Bianchi, drop us a line if you want to get one of them.
Also…
