Keep the scene edgy

So we hadn’t told you anything about how we played a couple of records at SO LOUD! before Drop the Lime put the 15K Soundsystem to good use viz. blow away the smuggling den/ underground bomb shelter from the inside with the sound of fury like the bass gambino extraordinaire he is = Alien parasites hatching/coiling/bursting out of spazzing ribcages or chrome sharks floating in the air and biting people’s heads off, fountains of blood sprinkle in the air on cue, which.is.just.rinsing. The fact he’s a total winner & his fave tune is Video Clash by Lil’ Louis & he digs kraut rock only added up to our excitement and delight, he might even do us a lil mix or summat when he gets some time off blowing holes in speakers all over the place.

Drop the Lime- Mandeer Hunted

With a bassline which sounds like Ice T in New Jack City projecting a Grand Theft Auto deathmatch (perhaps Manhunt 2, off to gaol you go) in the dirty brick wall covering the insides of your skull. Wha.

Go and check him in the following carnages, erm, parties in London, and say hi from us, also to our main man Genuine Guy brap.

If in Brighton, do like Brightonians.

MARNIE STERN AT THEE GREENHOUSE EFFECT

We saw her at the Animal Collective gig in London yesterday and it was total riffstorm of beauty, Hella kids destroyed it too. Lightning Bolt v Deerhoof v Van Halen v Pattie Smith FTW.

Marnie Stern- Patterns of a Diamond Ceiling

Mighty Skills 7 Stamina 12 (krautrock with my cake please) & Towering Breaker (got my face caught in the meat grinder and it was beautiful) support

So Greenhouse Effect tomorrow YAY from 8 onwards, a few tix left in Resident/Edgeworld/Rounder RUN RUN.

Go to (??) i LOL fest renaming party after. And dis after.
