So, what you been listening to?
James N’s  guide to getting back on the wrong tracks.

Been neglecting the noise of late due to the overwhelming abundance of seriously brilliant cosmic/baleric/nu-disco/space-house. You can’t blame me/you/us for getting all caught up in the faux glitz and glam but not everyone has a Prins Thomas/Studio/Joakim/Rodion remix in the pipeline. Some, like Magic Johnson, prefer to throw some drums down the stairs and hurl abuse at their ex’s in song….

((Thanks to Bianca for sorting the tunes out for us, Magic Johnson are recording in Ol’Factory Records right now and, as you see, when this comes out it’s going to be a fucking bash))

Some prefer to chant over hypno rhthym section with falling down a spiral staircase guitar. Boo hoo Deerhunter are on hiatus but we have Atlas Sounds so its alright…we also have Talbot Tagora. p.s where’s my 7″.

Some, over in Baltimore (seems like fertile soil over there lately - whats in the cookies?) prefer to get all one with the spirit vibe and all kitchen sink tribal, bad recorder recital and Usaisamonster unplugged type-ness. Short but just damn lovely.

Some like to pulse ‘n’ fuzz inna Excepter-ish un-dance kinda Caberet Voltaire or Chrome waaaaaaay and sorta Black Dice-y. Only listen to in the dark if you wanna get all hugged up and hide behind the sofa with a hot chick/guy watching a scary movie way.
