I really enjoy the way this mysterious MRTH lady further illustrates these dreamy gems w/even dreamier drawings.
There’s a rumour going around the web that her right index finger was bitten off by a griffin and replaced by the quill of Ferdinand Foch, which he had used to sign The Armistice treaty.
Purportedly, she implements this special digit to accurately render hard copies of the strange ghosts that haunt her subconscious mind. I’m not sure if any of those claims have been substantiated, though.
I LOVE that Chairlift track, btw….

Chairlift. Planet Health. Bada Boom. BIG bada boom.

I wonder why chairlift’s record company is trying to push evident utensil on everyone when clearly planet health is the biggest scoop from them. I haven’t met one single person that didn’t die a little big of excitement from hearing planet health, and no one really seems to care about evident utensil.

I’d go further and say Evident Utensil is the worst track on the album and the faux-naive schtick gets old in the first few bars. Inexplicable that it’s the first single.

I don’t wanna brag, guys, but I’ll actually have the opportunity to ask them in person on Friday nite, as their tour, w/Mr. Ariel Pink, will be slicing through my zip code then.
BTW, they are from Brooklyn…. xo

Aw, sorry to post yet again, but just noticed the Chairlift mp3 switcheroo. So, that was at the label’s request?
Yr totally right, Dann….
‘Planet Health’ is the one that sold me on them, not ‘Evident Utensil’.
Boo.

i’ll answer it for you. we love planet health - it just didn’t exist last year when we put out a first single. since evident utensil has been already all over the web, and we are trying to keep to giving away just one track as free download. besides, plenty of people are posting the planet health video.
