Enthralled in a strange land

Hi there, sorry we have been slack lately. We’ll make up for it.

Big fucking time.

seriouslover

Let’s begin with a slam dunk, Serious Lover, who pulls all the freestyle cool moves with a new era edge that should go down a storm amongst all the peoples down at Top Nice and Hugo’s showdowns. Imagine John Rocca and Johnny Jewel playing dice in a back alley, lucky strikes dangling from their lips, a lull,  knuckles cracking funky like cowbells to summon a street gang of beautiful freaks who strut from the silky pool of mist at the end of the avenue with sinuous hip swing, zeroing into the entrance to the disco like obsidian sharks gearing up for a romantic massacre, step in for a delirious dream of walls painted with stroboscopic blocks of orange and magenta, gloved arms punching the air and oversized gold bracelets shaking unhinged to a killer beat.

Serious Lover- Serious Love

This  track is being released on Cyber Dance later this month with Brassica and a few more. Geddit.

Images of turbulent paranoid love come to mind as we are hit by this pumping acid house track, over which disco ice queen Nancy Fortune becomes the soul oracle, watch a true master do it, welcome home Traxx: My Soul is a new kind of jazz where a bird of golden plumage soars above astonishing vistas which could be the aftermath of absolute hydrogen bomb obliteration, or perhaps the site of a devastated heart being examined through a microscope, shells of massive structures and derelict churches, or are they factories, silhouettes of a population turned into ash graffitied in the walls. If you look close you will see amber shoots starting to grow through cracks in the melted roads upon being touched by the shadow of our swirling bird. There is still hope, the heart keeps beating, boom boom.

Traxx feat. Nancy Fortune- My Soul (Removed on request)

My Soul is included in Traxx’ new album, Faith, released by Nation records.
