Sniffing Chrome

World Class People’s fierce stomp and power horns getting down like it was 1992 etch a crypto-constellation of neon voodoo signs in the back of your skull, glowing graffiti containing the address of a post-apocalyptic Baltimore Basement party you can’t possibly miss.

It is the primitive tech soundtrack for an alluring video game sitting in the darkness corner of the arcade, retrofuturistic exoskeleton decorated with the airbrushed  portrait of a tribal garage diva whose arms are diamond-eyed constrictor boas lashing into the night sky. Think Tina Turner standing at the apex of an Aztec Pyramid,  summoning the powers of party with a hallucinated bout of Satanic vogueing.

These are Powers- World Class Peoples

World Class Peoples is featured in the These are Powers’ Candyman EP that will soon be released by the great dudes at IGETRVNG. It features Candyman, which we already featured in demo mode before Christmas, also with a sweet remix by Teengirl Fantasy. Do yourself a favour and pre-order it here.

Endless slides into our radar like a soviet stealth glider built of ultralight composite materials, layer after layer of slender grey slicing the cloudless night-sky open, over heavily guarded positions where grim sentinels stand vigilant, this is indeed an awesome Angel of Undeath bringing a message of brittle longing, the metallic metronome is there, and so are the ectoplasmic vocals,  a bass accent which is both John Carpenter and Joy Division, all coming together in a perfect crescendo of fragmented cold wave love.

If napalm froze instead of burning, it would sound like this.

Passions- Endless

Passions‘ album soon to be released by Houston’s finest Disaro is a love letter to all that was dark and skeletal and fierce in the 80s, we have been jamming to it like there was no tomorrow.
