We were lucky enough to behold Mi Ami riding the dance storm last week, after said show we ran to acquire every single bit of vinyl displayed at the merchandise stall, including a conspicuous (and rather sold out) Bored Fortress Single featuring Psychic Reality and Daniel’s side project Sex Worker.
Well, here you have the former in all its ‘Balaclavaed no wave commandoes pumping Debbie Harry on pharma grade psychedelics, and shoving her across a throbbing acid house dancefloor at the end of which spins a cruel shredder which devours her whole, different bits of her body are then delivered to hotspots of decadence across the city for the followers of the Muscle ‘n’ Grind creed to feast upon’.
Which may well have been a deleted scene from Videodrome.
Sex Worker – Telephone (Blondie Cover)
Gatto’s pick
Brian Eno – Here come the warm jets
Perfect pop that sounds like it was recorded from the room next door. Out of phase drums, glorious indecipherable singing, world’s greatest hairline.
TOTAL RECEDOPLATZ!
Epilogue -

Nothing like a little Eno to close out the day. Well done.

Great version – thanks for posting it. One minor correction – Blondie’s version is a cover as well, the original is this : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=emy5mA8Ixtc

Please note that the song “(Hanging On The) Telephone” was originally done by the LA, CA band, the Nerves & covered by Blondie

We do this kind of thing (i.e. post broken links, make mistakes etc.) on purpose to get comments. It’s our way to check whether there is anyone out there or not.
Joking. I will nevertheless ask Daniel who was he covering.
