Hi, and welcome to the first of this years 20jfg livewatch specials on the joys of the wildness we can witness in this season.  Today we’ll be taking you on a journey in sights and sound of the spectacular wonders of nature you can see around you in xxjfgland – island of wonders^TM.

As the moon rises at this time of year can be witnessed a marvelous spectacle. Similar to a call and response between Rub n Tug and Focus, an incantation can be heard in the woods of Lomar as projectile hippies Birth Control rampage across the land, primal screaming their mating call.

But be warned and observe them from a distance though – for, although at first seductive, mating with an aged German hard/prog rock band has been known to lead to dire consequences.

Within sight of the old ones, it’s slightly safer to observe the more placid species in their natural habitat and a highlight is the dawn chorus of the Darwin worshiping Diagram Brothers as they minimalistically re-afirm their communal belief in evolutionary discordo.

The Isle of Oriab

Unlike mad dogs and Englishmen most species stay out of the midday sun at this time of year. While enjoying a siesta, if your lucky, you can hear the hauntological echos of Little Scratch and their album Arts & Crafts.

Once refreshed and awakened you may be lucky to spot the more common and easier to observe (with their homogeneous highly polished teeth, showmenship and very well-groomed hair!) the theocratic Osmonds, who sing of their higher divinity, passion, fire and the soul – here recorded by our expert in the field Mr Todd Terje.

In the long sun down evenings if your very feeling adventurous you can witness the strangest of dances of the seas between Fujiya and Miyagi and their temporary puppet masters Erland & The Carnival as they recreate an fuzy-fizzyness not dissimilar to mid lifecycle Caribou, which as long term fans will know made us very happy, before their unfortunate decline as a species.
