Dear 20JFG uncles,

The school trip to Europe is being lots of fun, although sometimes I wish everyone would shut up and pay attention to the things around us, instead of each other. Say, we went to the museum in Paris the other way, and everyone was making lots of noise, and running around and not listening to the tour guide, and I got annoyed so I went on my own, and I found this place that was empty and quiet and I liked it, it was all white and metal, and it had these big windows so the sun came in from different directions, so I walked around and I could only hear my pink shoes on the marble floor, and it was as if the people in the pictures in the walls were staring at me, but not in a bad way, they made me feel welcome.

It was also as if I knew where I was going, my pink shoes took me down the halls to this picture, which was funny, it was of people from a long time ago but they weren’t standing around looking all serious as most people in the paintings do, no. There was this girl a bit older than me dressed in a nice dress and a big Maria Antoinette hairdo jumping on a big pink bed and she looked really happy, and lots of birds of all sorts flying over her, and there was this man sitting by her side, surrounded by machines as if we was trying to read something in it, or make something happen. I stared into the painting because I wanted to find out what it was the man was doing, and why the girl was so happy.

Then a security guard came and I thought he was going to tell me off, or take me back with the others, but he didn’t, he looked friendly, he was older than most security guards, and wearing this nice brown suit with really crazy lapels, and big glasses, and a cane with gold in it, he asked me if I knew that this painting came with a song, and I was like, whatever! But he flicked his fingers and suddenly this nice music came on, and I knew that the man in the painting was making the music, and the girl was dancing and singing to it, and I just danced to it as well, and the old man hit the floor with his cane to the beat, and then when it finished I asked what kind of music was this, because I have never heard anything like it, and he said this: “this is italo disco Dorothy, a very old kind of music. And this is the way it’s meant to sound”.

I swear I’m not making this up, the people in the painting smiled when he said this! Crazy!

Anyway, I’m going to go now, I hope everything is fine over there, lots of hugs and kisses, give the cats a cuddle from me!

Appaloosa – Jumping on Beds (Extended Mix

From time to time, Appaloosa shine upon us and then everything is worth it. Jumping on Beds and intricate piano house progressions/fantasy synth lines are the real deal that makes us swoon.
